Tink Models Her New Sweater

Image
We took the girls shopping at Petsmart over the weekend. I wanted to get a sweater for Tink because Michigan winter will be here soon and she already shivers in the morning. It makes it hard for her to potty when she is that cold. I realized something - dog clothes are expensive which is why I made an attempt to make clothes for her myself.

My First Homemade Sweater for Tink

Image
After watching a ton of videos on YouTube and reading tutorials on websites I decided to go outside and brave the cold to find some sweaters we had in the garage sale. I have some patterns, but I am too lazy at the end of the day to drag out the sewing machine. This sweater was made out of a human sweater sleeve and no sewing. It was all done with a hot glue gun. I found a lot of people doing "no-sew" dog clothes on YouTube. It wasn't bad for my first time. I had a few spots where the glue got on the sweater. You should sew the leg holes so they don't unravel or rip. I'll be making more clothing for Tinkerbell, so keep checking back.

We review: Canidae TidNips Chicken & Rice Dog Treats

Image
Canidae TidNips Chicken & Rice Dog Treats  at Chewy.com Casey says:  These were yummy! The minute mumma opened the package I woke up and ran to the kitchen. They smelled wonderful. I sat for her just like she asked me to. She gave me a couple and I wished she could have given me more. But, I was a bad girl. I went to grandma's for the weekend and she put my treats on top of the washer and dryer. I could not wait for her to get home so I helped myself. I ate them all up. I could not help it, they were so good. Grandma said I was a bad girl. Tink says:  I might be little and I might be new, but Casey should have shared! Description:   CANIDAE Chicken and Rice TidNips™ are soft and tasty treats that your dog will love!  Made with real chicken and rice and supplemented with vitamin E and Omega-3 fatty acids, these treats are not only fun to feed, they are good for your dog too! Vitamin E is an antioxidant that helps your dog live a happy and healthy lifestyle. Omega-3 f

Meet Tink

Image
After months and months of waiting, praying, and praying some more, we finally have a new addition to our family. This is "Tink" (yes, short for Tinkerbell) and she is about 9 weeks old. She is a Chug. Part Pug part  Chihuahua.   I was looking at rescues, adoption centers, Craigslist, newspapers and various other places people post dogs. Every time we found one we liked it had issues with other dogs or cats. Then I couldn't decide if I wanted an older dog for Casey, or a puppy.
