Easter with my Humans

Image
Hello to my human’s readers. I’m Cain.  Momma said I needed to say hello to the people that are reading my story and trying to help out. I wish I could hug all of you, but I might drool on you and then would feel bad. So, I will just wag my tail for you if that is ok. Yesterday we had what my human called Easter. I am not sure what that is about. I heard momma and my new daddy talking to their little human the other night, right before it was our bedtime. Reading from something she called a book. My stooopid spaz sister Casey told me it was called a Bible. She thinks she is so smart. She really gets on my nerves sometimes. My human mommy gave me my  treat with that medicine in it that makes me feel funny.

We Interrupt This Program (Dog Seizures Are No Fun)

HubPages decided to do a 30 day writing challenge;  I hopped on board and decided to follow the lead of a friend who had just finished the 30 days of truths. I was so amazed by all of the things she had gone through and accomplished in life. Having my own stories to tell I felt it was a perfect opportunity to share my world with readers that were not aware of my writing websites. I was moving along on the challenge just fine, until everything changed in an instant. My world was thrown into a whirlwind. A few weeks back my oldest Boxer Cain,  who turned 7 last November, was sitting on the loveseat. Cain did have his tailed docked as a pup, but the breeders must have misjudged the length. Cain had a growth spurt and his tail grew with him. Instead of a little nub, he has a stubby tail. It has become quite a part of his personality. Cain is an extremely happy dog.  When he wags that stub of his, the whole back half of his body shakes right along with it. Cain will get so excite

Update on Cain

Yesterday I made a post on my other website about Cain, and how things change in an instant. I reposted it here on this blog. I have had this site set up for Cain for some months now, only it was for a completely different reason. This is one of the projects I had that were waiting on me to graduate so that I had more time to spend on it. The YouTube channel is already set up. I purchased the domain this morning, so I will set that up later today. I just wanted to get this post updated and out of the way.

Things Change in an Instant

When I got up this morning I had planned to sit down and look at some of the ideas I had written down for new posts. I spent a little time relaxing this morning, watching some shows that were still on the DVR, flipping through the pages of  Poets & Writers  magazine, and enjoying my coffee. I happened to get up to start bringing my belongings into the office when I noticed Cain was shaking. If you have ever seen Cain, you know he is a pretty happy dog and it is pretty noticeable. His little nub of a tail wags and it causes his whole body to wiggle. This was not what he was doing.
